Solid tire manufacturer process

Banbury: A "rubber" produced by mixing raw materials such as carbon black, natural and synthetic rubber, additives, and oil, and processing it in an Banbury mixer. All raw materials used by solid tire manufacturer must be tested before entering the internal mixer and can be used after passing the test.

    The weight of each pot in the mixer is ≈ 550 kg. Each compound used by solid tire manufacturer has specific properties. The composition of the compound determines the performance of the solid tire, and the change in the composition of the compound also determines the solid tire supporting manufacturers and market demands. These demands come from traction, drivability, road conditions, and their own requirements. All solid tire rubber materials need to be tested before entering the next process and the preparation of rubber parts, and only after passing the test can they enter the next process.

    Glue parts preparation: including 6 main sections. In this process, semi-finished glue parts are prepared, some of which are preliminarily assembled.

    ①Extrusion: The rubber material is fed into the extruder head to extrude different semi-finished rubber parts.

    ② Calendering: The raw cord passes through the calender, and a layer of thin rubber material is hung on both sides of the cord. The finished product is called "cord". The raw cord is mainly nylon and polyester.

    ③ Bead forming: It is wrapped by a plurality of steel wires hanging with glue.

    ④Cutting of cord fabric: The cord fabric is cut to a suitable width, and the joints are connected. Width and length determine specifications, structure, design, etc.

    ⑤Applying the apex: The extruded apex is manually attached to the bead.

    ⑥ Belt layer forming: In the spindle room, many steel wires pass through the threading plate, and then pass through the die plate at the same time with the rubber material, so that the steel wire is glued on both sides. The belt layer after hanging glue is cut to the specified size.
